Larger Picture – The overall view of a project, organization or issue.  E.g.  “We need to take the larger picture into consideration when making a decision.”

Leadership – Managers or Directors and the people that they report to; People that can make a decision.  E.g.  “I will take this to leadership and see what they say.”

Learning component –  Something that will need to be learned.  E.g.  “Is there a learning component to this?”  See also education component.

Lessons Learned – This learned by doing something.  E.g.  “Do we have any lessons learned from the last time we did this?”

Level-setting – Making things even.  E.g.  “By completing this, we are level-setting things for the next phase.”

Leverage – Something which gives additional power to the person.  E.g.  “This will give us extra leverage to move the project forward.”

Lines – 1.  Communication path.  e.g.  “Our lines are crossed” 2.  A group of similar business items.  e.g.  “The company just sold off its healthcare line.

Living Document – A document which can change as needed to fit the requirements of the moment.  E.g.  “The charter is a living document.”

Long Term – Anything not of consideration at the moment.  E.g.  “Long term we need to think about the implications of this.”

Logistics – 1.  The organization of how something is accomplished.  E.g.  “I’ll have to look at the logistics of getting this done.  2.  Shipping  e.g.  “We’ll need to look at the logistics of getting this moved there.”

Low Hanging Fruit – Items that can be dealt with quickly without a lot of work or discussion.  E.g.  “Let’s not focus just on the low hanging fruit.”
