Make it Happen – A request for something to be done.  E.g.  “Take the necessary steps to make it happen.”

Marketplace – A place to find something needed for a project be that something physical or a person.  E.g. “We’ll bring this to the resource marketplace and secure a resource for this build.” Or “Is anything like this available in the marketplace?”

Matrix – A mix of different things.  E.g.  “How does this fit into the matrix?”

Memo – A note.  E.g. “Send a memo to the staff reminding them of this.”

Meeting – A place where a project or issue is discussed among interested parties.  These can either be straight and to the point or long drawn out formal affairs with much structure.  E.g.  “The steering committee meeting is next week.”

Metrics – Numerical measurement.  E.g.  “How do these numbers fit into the metrics?” or “How do we measure the metrics for this implementation?”

Migration – Moving from one system to another.  E.g.  “The telephone system is migrating to a new vendor.”

Mind Share – Awareness of something.  E.g.  “We need better mind share of our products.”

Minutes – Summary notes of a meeting.  E.g.  “Who is going to be taking minutes for this meeting?”

Mission Critical – Something important to the enterprises mission.  E.g.  “This application is mission critical.”

Move the needle – Make something happen.  E.g.  “How can we move the needle to make project move forward?”

Moving Forward – From this time forward.  E.g.  “Moving forward we will be using a different telephone service.”

Moving Parts – All of the different components that are being actively worked on at the same time (like an engine).  E.g.  “There’s a lot of moving parts to this project”

Multitasking – Doing more than one thing at the same time.  E.g.  “I haven’t been able to get to your request because I’ve been doing a lot of multitasking lately.”
