Synopsis: The two homes that the former president lived are are preserved in this site. Stamp Location: The visitor center is located at the intersection of Main & Truman Sts in Independence. The home is further down the road, but you must stop here first. |

Jefferson National Expansion Memorial | ||
Synopsis: Massive Arch symbolizing the gateway to the west is the center peice of this memorial. The site also features a large museum of westward expansion and the courthouse where Dred Scott was tried. Note: you have to pay for a park brochure at the site, but they are free if you get one in Washington or write to the publications office. Stamp Location: Stamp is located in the bookstores of either the north or south entrances. Park either in the garage to the north of the arch or right on the river front and walk up the steps. On the banks of the Mississippi River in Downtown St Louis. The stamp is also available at the Old Court House, two blocks west of the Gateway Arch. |

Synopsis: Park protects 134 miles of the Current and Jacks Fork Rivers in the Ozark Highlands of southeastern Missouri. Stamp Location: The Round Spring Ranger Station and Park headquarters & visitor center located at 404 Watercress Dr in Van Buren, directly across the street from the Van Buren HS. This is just east of town on Main Street, also known as “Old Route 60.” Its also available at the Alley Spring ranger station. It’s also available at the Big Spring Museum located next to the Big Spring Lodge on Route 103. |
