2.&nbsp;\nAnother way of saying \u201clet\u2019s stop this discussion and talk about\nsomething else\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Channels\n<\/strong>\u2013\nThe proper pathway for something to go through.&nbsp;\nThis can be the proper person or process.&nbsp; e.g.&nbsp;\n\u201cWe\u2019ll need to work through channels to get this done.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Circle\nBack<\/strong>&nbsp;\u2013 To return to discussing something.&nbsp; Usually used as a tactic to stop discussing\nsomething and move on to another discussion topic.&nbsp; e.g.&nbsp;\n\u201cLet\u2019s circle back to this topic.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Cloud<\/strong>&nbsp;\u2013 Also known as \u201cThe Cloud\u201d, it\u2019s a reference\nto a server or place connected to the Internet.&nbsp;\ne.g.&nbsp; \u201cWe\u2019ll be storing this in\nthe cloud.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Close\nthe loop<\/strong>&nbsp;\u2013 Completing any missing items.&nbsp; e.g.&nbsp;\n\u201cLet\u2019s close the loop on this.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Coat\nTails<\/strong>&nbsp;\u2013 Lingering effects.&nbsp; It\u2019s usually meant in the office as the an\nafter effect of implementing something. e.g.&nbsp;\n\u201cThis implementation is going to have coat tails\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Collaborate<\/strong><strong>&nbsp;<\/strong>\u2013 Working\ntogether.&nbsp; e.g.&nbsp; \u201cWe need to collaborate on this\u201d or \u201cThis was\na collaborative effort.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Con-Call<\/strong>&nbsp;\u2013 A buzzword for a conference call.&nbsp; e.g.&nbsp;\n\u201cWho needs to be on this con-call?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Connection<\/strong><strong>&nbsp;<\/strong>\u2013 Something\nrelated to something else.&nbsp; Sometimes\nused as a reference to connecting one person with another.&nbsp; e.g.&nbsp;\n\u201cI work through connections on this\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Connectivity<\/strong><strong>&nbsp;<\/strong>\u2013 The ability to\nconnect two disparate things together.&nbsp; e.g.&nbsp; \u201cDo we have connectivity between these two\nsystems?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Content\nis King<\/strong>&nbsp;\u2013 The belief that the material that makes up\nthe content of&nbsp; media is the most\nimportant aspect of the media and not the quantity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Consultant<\/strong><strong>&nbsp;<\/strong>\u2013 Someone outside\nof an organization that is hired to provide an opinion or work that cannot be\ndone internally or is only needed on a temporary basis.&nbsp; e.g.&nbsp;\n\u201cWe\u2019ll need to bring in a consultant to do this work\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Core\nCompetency<\/strong>&nbsp;\u2013 Knowing the base skills necessary for one\u2019s\njob.&nbsp; e.g.&nbsp; \u201cMake sure you\u2019ve completed your core\ncompentency.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Cradle\nto the Grave<\/strong>&nbsp;\u2013 Something that someone will need for their\nentire life.&nbsp; e.g.&nbsp; \u201cThis is a cradle to the grave solution\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Critical\nPath<\/strong>\n\u2013 The most important direction that something needs to take.&nbsp; e.g.&nbsp;\n\u201cThis is a critical path for the project.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Cubicle<\/strong><strong>&nbsp;<\/strong>\u2013 A walled space\nin an office that usually contains a desk and equipment, usually for one\nworker.&nbsp; Sometimes multiple workers have\nto share the space but each \u201ccube\u201d is reserved for one worker.&nbsp; The wall height can vary from short to tall\nbut offers some noise and visual compartment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Current\nState<\/strong><strong>&nbsp;\u2013 <\/strong>The current way\nthat a certain process works.&nbsp;
