Chaco Culture NHP

Synopsis: Acheological park preserves one of the major Puebloan centers dating from 850.
Stamp Location: Visitor center is inside the park; To get here from the north (prefered access), turn off Hwy 550/44 at County Road 7900–3 miles southeast of Nageezi and approximately 50 miles west of Cuba (at mile 112.5). This route is clearly signed from Hwy 550/44 to the park boundary (21 miles). The route includes 5 miles of paved road (CR 7900) and 16 miles of dirt (CR 7950).

El Malpais NM

Synopsis: Park preserves over 100,000 acres of wilderness that contains volcanic features and unique ecosystems.
Stamp Location: Visitor centers include the El Malpais Information Center on SR 53 about 20 miles from Grants and the Northwest NM Visitor Center at Exit 85 on I-40 in Grants. The stamp is also available at the BLM ranger station SR 117 10 miles south of exit 89 on I-40.

Petroglyph NM

Synopsis: Sites commemorates the early contact of Europeans and the native peoples.
Stamp Location: The visitor center is located one block from the intersection of US 60 and SR 513 in Mountainair. Also available at three separate units: Abo 9 miles west of Mountainair off US 60, Gran Quivira 25 miles south of Mountainair off SR 55 and Quarai 8 miles north of Mountainair at the end of SR 513 off SR 55.

White Sands NM

Synopsis: Park protects 275 square miles of great wave-like dunes of gypsum sand, creating the world’s largest gypsum dune field.
Stamp Location: Stamp is available in the park visitor center off US 70, 15 miles west of Alamogordo. The park is surrouded by the White Sands Missle Range and is sometimes subject to closures during testing. Large signs on the way to monument will display if the monument is open or not. A stamp is also available for visiting the Trinity Site located on the monument, however it is only available on first Saturday of April & October.
