This is our collection of early color television programs. These include historic recordings from the mid to late 1950s and early 1960s before the widespread adoption of color TV.
Most shows at the time were saved on Black & White Kinescope films so many of the early color broadcasts have been lost because a means to record them on video tape didn't exist. When video tape did become available it was very expensive and networks often recorded over older shows. Some programs did survive and these are the oldest shows and we've made them available as a collection for you to watch.
